Laramie man arrested on recommended felony Strangulation charge

The Laramie Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect they believe may have strangled a person in their household.

According to the Laramie Police Department, on May 24, 2020 at approximately 10:30 pm Laramie Police Officers responded to the 1400 Block of East Canby Street for the report of a physical domestic.

As a result of the Officer’s investigation, Laramie PD says that Guadalupe Farley, a 19-year-old Laramie resident, was arrested and charged with Strangulation of a Household Member.

Bond has not yet been set for Mr. Farley and he remains incarcerated at the Albany County Detention Center.

Strangulation of a household member is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten (10) years.

All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
