CASPER, Wyo. — Casper Police say that two suspects have been arrested on suspicion of armed robbery, during an incident where shots were fired. Police say the motive of the crime is believed to be methamphetamine.
Casper Police Department officials say that shortly after 3:00 am on Tuesday, August 5, 2020, officers responded to a call of shots fired at the 300 block of West F Street in Casper.
Upon arrival, officers on the scene observed a bullet hole and a casing, however police did not elaborate on where the bullet hole was found.
“In a review of security camera footage, officers observed two individuals acting suspiciously prior to the shots fired call being received around 3:00 am,” a Casper PD statement said Thursday. “Ultimately, officers were able to identify some of the individuals involved and obtain the appropriate search warrants to further investigate the incident.”
Police say they believe two individuals conspired in an act of armed robbery, and that the intent of the robbery was to obtain methamphetamine.
Two arrests were made following interviews and investigations
Hali Neeley was recommended for three felony charges of Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Conspiracy. Officers also arrested Gavin Pfrimmer on two recommended felony charges of Armed Robbery and Conspiracy, and one recommended misdemeanor charge of Failure to Comply.
“It is with and high level of investigative skills and unwavering dedication to the safety of this community that Casper Police Officers and Detectives were so quickly able to identify and arrest these two suspects,” a Department spokesperson said Thursday.
Further details were not immediately available from Natrona County Circuit Court.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.
