Cheyenne woman sentenced in Federal court on drug charge

The suspect was also ordered to pay $500 in restitution and $100 in special assessments.

A Cheyenne woman charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Distribute has been sentenced in the case.

According to an announcement from the United States Attorney’s Office, the 39 year old suspect was arrested in March of 2021 and was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent to Distribute.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says that for that charge she has been sentenced to 36 months of imprisonment, to be followed by 36 months of supervised release.

The suspect was also ordered to pay $500 in restitution and $100 in special assessments.

The sentence was handed down by Chief Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl and the case was prosecuted by the Assistant United States Attorney Jonathan C. Coppom.

The suspect was identified in the announcement as Cheyenne resident Tiffany Dawn Havner.
