CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office has released more information regarding a shooting that occurred on Monday, Oct. 24.
According to a release from the department, deputies responded at around 3 p.m. to a report of a shooting that occurred on the 43000 block of East I-80 Service Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical responders, and his identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
At the time, the shooting suspect was detained by law enforcement. However, no arrests have been made. The subject of the investigation will be identified once it is deemed that doing so will not compromise an ongoing investigation.
