CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The trial for a Wyoming state trooper has been continued in Laramie County District Court.

Gabriel Testerman was arrested on Aug. 30, 2022, on three counts of inflicting sexual intrusion on a victim.

This is the third time that Testerman’s trial has been continued, with the initial trial date having been set for Jan. 10, 2023, before being moved to March 13. The trial was set for Aug. 28, but was continued on Aug. 2 to a later date, which is to be determined at a scheduling conference.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol made an announcement regarding the arrest and said that the department had been contacted about the investigation into Testerman on May 2, 2022.

“The trooper was immediately removed from service and placed on administrative leave pending the investigation,” the release said. Testerman had been stationed in Cheyenne.
