CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A 31-year old woman is facing child abuse and domestic battery charges after hitting both her husband and 2-year-old child on Nov. 27.
A Laramie County sheriff deputy responded to a physical domestic call around 8:13 p.m. at a local residence, according to a booking sheet. Bertha “Betty” Lola-Martinez was then arrested after hitting her husband with an open palm in the arm and hitting her child with an open palm in the face.
Lola-Martinez was placed in handcuffs that were checked for proper tightness and double locked, the document states.
She was cleared by American Medical Response and transported to the Laramie County Detention Center.
