CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Here is a brief summary of notable crimes in and around Cheyenne, obtained through law enforcement reports compiled by the Cheyenne Police Department, the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office and the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Unauthorized Vehicle Use and Synthetic Urine Possession, Interstate 80, Dec. 5, WHP
A 39-year-old Hialeah, Florida, man is facing multiple misdemeanor charges in Laramie County after the semi-tractor he was driving was pulled over on Interstate 80.
A Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper received an attempt to locate report for a white truck with no company name towing a trailer and heading west from the TA Truck Stop. The initial report came from the owner of the trailer, who said it was taken without permission.
The trooper found the semi at 10:39 a.m. near mile marker 369 and stopped it. The driver said he was a company driver. However, the company denied having a driver by his name and provided a different name for the driver of the truck.
The man was taken into custody. During a search of the semi, a trooper reported finding a bottle of synthetic urine. The man was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center.
