CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Here is a summary of notable crimes in and around Cheyenne, obtained through law enforcement reports compiled by the Cheyenne Police Department, the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, and the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Aggravated Assault, Laramie County, Jan. 9, LCSO
Deputy Barker was dispatched to a Laramie County residence for a domestic assault case involving an ex-boyfriend who had been staying there since November 2023. The ex-boyfriend was accused of physically assaulting a roommate by throwing her on the floor, holding a knife to her throat and making threats, according to booking sheets.
After investigating, Deputy Barker found probable cause and arrested the ex-boyfriend, Daniel Bolejack. During the arrest, Daniel feigned or experienced a blackout, but medical responders found no signs of distress, according to the report. He was transported to the Laramie County Detention Center for holding.
DUI and Traffic Accident, WY 215 Mile Marker 12, Jan. 9, WHP
Trooper Monnett responded to a crash involving an SUV at mile marker 12 on WY 215. The SUV was found in a field on its side. The driver was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. An open alcohol container was found in the car and firefighters noted an alcohol odor, according to booking sheets.
After implied consent was read at CRMC, the driver provided a urine sample. He was then transported to Laramie County Detention Center and booked for DUI, improper lane use and driving without a valid license.
