CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Here is a summary of notable crimes in and around Cheyenne, obtained through law enforcement reports compiled by the Cheyenne Police Department, the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office and the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Names for misdemeanor citations have been removed.

Disturbing the Peace, Reed Avenue, March 18, CPD

A 40-year-old Cheyenne man is charged with disturbing peace and property after another man told police he found the suspect standing in his kitchen.

Police were called at 6:30 a.m. to the 2400 block of Reed Avenue, where the reporting party told police he came out of his bathroom and found the suspect standing in his kitchen. The reporting party said he confronted the suspect and held him in the corner until police arrived.

The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center.

Interfering/Obstructing, Saratoga Street, March 18, CPD

Police are charging a 27-year-old Cheyenne man with misdemeanor interfering/obstructing after he tried to bypass officers conducting an investigation.

A booking sheet states police were called at 5:31 p.m. to the 3600 block of Saratoga Street for a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, the man was told several times he couldn’t go inside the house during the investigation. He tried to push past an officer to get inside, leading to his arrest.

The man was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center.
