CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne law enforcement agencies are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Saturday night.
On March 30 at roughly 11 p.m. Cheyenne Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex on the 1700 block of Oxford Drive. Officers arrived on the scene to find the aftermath of a deadly shooting.
At the scene, officers found a man who appeared to be the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. Officers began to administer first aid until medical personnel arrived, though the victim was ultimately declared deceased at the scene.
One person was detained following the incident.
Detectives do not believe there to be a threat to the public at this time. This is a developing story, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
