CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne police swiftly apprehended a 45-year-old woman, Crystyl Faythe Parker, following a daylight burglary. The incident occurred on April 5 at a residence located on Hot Springs Avenue.

Officer Marshall responded to the scene at approximately 1:43 p.m. after a burglary report. Upon arrival, the premises appeared empty. However, the homeowner, currently out of town, reported a burglary captured by her home surveillance system. The footage revealed a short, bleach-blonde female entering her home and absconding with a purple suitcase.

Police quickly located Parker at her residence, a short distance from the crime scene. Officers found the stolen purple suitcase in Parker’s backyard, according to booking sheets, corroborating the evidence against her.

Without incident, Parker was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center. Parker now faces burglary charges. At her initial court appearance, Parker was set a $2,500 cash bond and will have a preliminary hearing April 17.
