CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Police arrested a 60-year-old transient man, John Patrick Pino, on Tuesday evening at a local establishment on Dell Range Boulevard.

Officer Bolkovatz of the Cheyenne Police Department made the arrest at approximately 6:11 p.m. after Pino attempted to deceive the officer by providing a false name and date of birth, according to booking sheets. Authorities had sought Pino on multiple counts stemming from previous criminal conduct in Laramie County.

The first arrest warrant, issued on Jan. 5 by Judge Antoinette Williams, pertained to Pino’s failure to appear for an original charge of possessing a controlled substance. A subsequent warrant signed on Jan. 11 by Judge Catherine Rogers involved his failure to register as a sex offender.

During the arrest, Officer Bolkovatz discovered approximately 13.13 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe on Pino, leading to additional charges of felony methamphetamine possession.
