CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A man who reportedly threatened to shoot law enforcement was arrested Wednesday in Cheyenne.
At around 10:30 a.m., law enforcement with the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office and Wyoming Fugitive Task Force served a federal arrest warrant to Michael Picard on the 600 block of East Jefferson Road, according to a Facebook post from the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement surrounded the premises and arrested Picard.
Picard was wanted out of the Northern District of Florida for violating a supervised release. Prior to his arrest, it was reported that the fugitive possessed several firearms and was planning to use them to shoot out at law enforcement, according to the LCSO post.
