CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Highway Patrol is looking for a dark gray Toyota involved in a pursuit west of Cheyenne this morning.
On Tuesday morning, state troopers responded to a traffic complaint involving a dark gray Toyota SUV driving recklessly, according to a Facebook post from the WHP. When troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated to a high speed and drove the wrong way on the interstate. After attempting to stop the car, it crashed through the right-of-way fence and entered a field. The vehicle was able to navigate the rough terrain before law enforcement got to the location.
The suspect Toyota will have damage to the front from a barbed wire fence, have damage to the rear bumper, contain no license plates and feature dark-tinted windows. The suspect driver is believed to be a white male aged 30–40 with some facial hair.
Anyone who spots the vehicle should not approach it and instead call Wyoming Highway Patrol Dispatch at 307-777-4321.
