CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On June 17, Laramie County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Cheyenne man for allegedly stealing over $2,000 from his employer. The incident took place at a local business on Deike Court.

Deputy Hauf responded to a call about an employee — Tyler Hollenbach, 27 — suspected of theft. The store manager provided video surveillance footage and a detailed report showing the amount of money taken. The manager stated that the corporate office was conducting a further investigation.

Another employee escorted Hollenbach to the back office to meet with Hauf. After being read his Miranda rights, Hauf spoke to Hollenbach about the charges. Hollenbach was then secured in the back of a patrol car and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without incident.

Hollenbach faces charges of theft over $1,000 and had his initial court appearance June 20. He was set a bond of $2,000 at 10% cash.
