Cheyenne Walmart evacuated after bomb threat; police, K-9 units find no danger

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — At approximately 2:30 p.m., Cheyenne police officers were dispatched to a report of a bomb threat at Walmart, 580 Livingston Ave. A suspicious note was found in the bathroom and reported to law enforcement.

The building was evacuated, and officers responded immediately to begin clearing. A Laramie County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team specializing in explosive detection was also called in to conduct a sniff search, according to a news release by the Cheyenne Police Department.

The building has been cleared, with no evidence of an explosive device.
