CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Patrick Benjamin Pacheco, 50, was arrested by the Cheyenne Police Department on July 9. Pacheco, who was on the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List, faced a felony probation violation warrant.
At around 4:15 p.m., Officer Painter responded to a tip at Habitat for Humanity, located at 715 E. 15th St. Upon arrival, officers encountered an individual who identified himself by a false name. Officer Ehlman recognized the individual as Pacheco. Painter confirmed Pacheco’s identity using prior booking photos and distinctive tattoos.
The confirmed warrant, signed by Judge Rogers on May 30, stemmed from an original charge of possession of methamphetamine. Despite Pacheco’s attempts to provide false information, his Aztec, scorpion and gravestone tattoos confirmed his identity.
Pacheco was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on the felony probation violation warrant. He was also served a city summons for providing false ID and issued a criminal trespass warning for the location at 715 E. 15th St.
