Possession of a controlled substance and identity theft, near 9th Street, Oct. 13, WHP
A 33-year-old California man was arrested by Wyoming Highway Patrol officers near 9th Street in Cheyenne around 10 p.m. following a traffic stop for speeding and driving without taillights.
A probable cause search of the vehicle uncovered suspected marijuana products and multiple fake driver’s licenses bearing the suspect’s photo but with other individuals’ information. The man was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance and identity theft under $1,000.
Disturbing the peace and public intoxication, near Broken Wheel Court, Oct. 12, CPD
A 41-year-old Cheyenne woman was arrested by Cheyenne police near Broken Wheel Court around 10:30 p.m. after multiple reports of her screaming and disturbing neighbors. Officers had responded to the scene three times that evening, and the woman failed to comply with a lawful order to remain inside.
After being found intoxicated and damaging property, she was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on charges of disturbing of peace, public intoxication and failure to comply. She registered a 0.22 BAC during processing.
DUI and possession of marijuana, near Warren Avenue and East 20th Street, Oct. 13, CPD
A 30-year-old Cheyenne woman was arrested by Cheyenne police near Warren Avenue and East 20th Street shortly after midnight after a traffic stop for erratic driving. The driver admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the day and failed multiple sobriety tests.
A marijuana blunt was found in her possession. She was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for a blood draw before being booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of under a quarter-ounce of marijuana and driving without a license.
Public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance, near East 9th Street, Oct. 12, CPD
A 43-year-old Cheyenne man was arrested by Cheyenne police near East 9th Street and Warren Avenue around 8:30 p.m. following a physical disturbance. Witnesses reported the man as the aggressor in a fight, and officers observed signs of intoxication.
During the arrest, a glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue was found in his backpack. The man was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on charges of public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and riotous conduct.
