CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Law enforcement officials are conducting a coordinated, multi-agency investigation on Musser Road in rural Park County after discovering homemade explosive devices and potentially illegally possessed firearms and equipment at a residence.
The Cody Police Department, Park County Sheriff’s Office, Regional Bomb Team and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are involved in the operation, which began following the discovery. Multiple search warrants have been executed to ensure public safety and further assess the situation. Additional law enforcement personnel will remain in the area to support ongoing operations.
Authorities report no threat to the community at this time but urge residents and the public to avoid the area to allow personnel to conduct their work safely. The investigation remains active, with further details yet to be released.
