CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Judge Antoinette Williams presided over a series of hearings in Laramie County Circuit Court on Nov. 15. The docket included arraignments, probation revocations and sentencing hearings.
Probation Revocations and Case Reviews
- Joseph Crisp admitted to violating probation by incurring new DUI charges in Albany County. The court found a factual basis for his admission and revoked his probation. Sentencing is set for Dec. 20, with an order for an updated substance abuse evaluation.
- Jenny Martin successfully completed her probation under a 301 deferral. With no violations found, she was discharged from probation and her charge was dismissed.
- Jessica L. Phillippe was scheduled for a probation revocation, bond revocation and disposition hearing. The hearing was rescheduled for Nov. 22.
Sentencing Hearings
- Ross Hammond was sentenced to 60 days for second-offense DUI and 11 days for driving without an interlock device. With 71 days of credit for time served, Hammond fulfilled his sentence. He was assessed $1,120 in fines and fees.
- Shawni Bole had her sentencing continued to Dec. 20 to allow time for evaluations.
- Taylor Taitague changed his plea to guilty on a DUI charge. After completing a victim impact panel and beginning substance abuse treatment, he was sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year of probation. Taitague was assessed $720 in fines and fees.
- Jason Zumbrun pleaded guilty to violating a protection order. The court found a factual basis for his plea and sentenced him to 35 days with credit for 35 days served. Zumbrun was assessed $220 in fees.
Arraignments
- Joseph Dallas Wood pleaded not guilty to charges of DUI, driving under suspension and driving without insurance.
- Evangelina Gonzalez failed to appear for her arraignment, prompting the issuance of a bench warrant.
- David Ortiz also failed to appear for a status hearing, resulting in a bench warrant being issued.
- Jerome Jordan Red Bear was scheduled for a change-of-plea hearing, which was rescheduled for Dec. 13.
Bond Revocations and Status Hearings
- Caleb Joshua Frank admitted to violating his bond. The court found a factual basis for the violation, revoked his bond and set it at an already posted amount in another case. Frank’s case is set for a scheduling conference in February 2025.
Rescheduled Sentencing
- Malachi Desmond was scheduled for sentencing, but the hearing was reset for Dec. 13.
