A 43-year-old Cheyenne woman was arrested during a traffic stop after officers discovered marijuana, non-prescribed pills and vehicle registration violations.
At 4:08 p.m., Officer McClaskey of the Cheyenne Police Department stopped a vehicle near York Avenue and West College Drive for operating without a front license plate. During the stop, officers identified non-prescribed pills and a bag containing suspected marijuana in the woman’s vehicle. The woman was arrested for possession of controlled substances and improper registration and was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center.

A 35-year-old Cheyenne woman was arrested after being involved in a hit-and-run and interfering with officers during her apprehension.
At 11:46 p.m., Officer Peterson of the Cheyenne Police Department responded to reports of a hit-and-run near Manhattan Lane. The suspect had struck an unattended vehicle and fled the scene.
