CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Judge Sean Chambers presided over multiple hearings in Laramie County Circuit Court on Dec. 2, addressing arraignments, probation violations and sentencings.

  • Kathleen Jaure appeared on a bond revocation arraignment after failing to appear for testing, which was a condition for her bond on two prior charges. She entered an admission, and her bond was revoked and then reinstated at 10% of $1,000. A scheduling conference was set for March.
  • Cody Stearns appeared on charges for possession of a controlled substance and possession of nicotine by someone under 21. These charges were dismissed.
  • Damien Pipes submitted a change of plea to a DUI charge. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to a year of unsupervised probation.
  • Stephen Swearingen entered a change of plea for a DUI, which was amended to a charge for careless driving. He pleaded guilty and was fined $250.
  • Michael Lohman appeared on an arraignment. He had charges for possession of a controlled substance in pill form and driving with no license. He pleaded not guilty. His bond was set at 10% of $1,000, and a scheduling conference was set for March.
  • William Brennan had an arraignment and status hearing. He was charged with possession of suspected methamphetamine. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation.
  • Earl Wayne Bloss Jr. pleaded not guilty to reckless endangerment. A scheduling conference was set for March. His bond was also reduced to recognizance.
  • Kahlil Montague pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance in marijuana form. The court fined him $500.
  • Shiela Pearson appeared for a sentencing. She previously pleaded guilty to property destruction and possession of a controlled substance. The court sentenced her to six months’ probation on both charges. The probation periods will run concurrently.
  • Brian Lawson appeared for an evidentiary hearing on a failure to pay court fees. He admitted to a bond revocation. He was sentenced to 42 days in jail with time served for 42 days. He also appeared on a charge for possession of a controlled substance in crystal form. A signature bond was set at $1,000. The court set a scheduling conference for February.
  • Devan Barnes appeared on an arraignment for possession of a controlled substance in plant form. He pleaded guilty and was fined $550.
  • Benjamin Glenn entered a change of plea and appeared on a bond revocation. He pleaded guilty to interference with a peace officer and consumption of alcohol as a minor. He also entered an admission of revocation. His current probation was revoked. As part of sentencing, he received six months of unsupervised probation for each of the charges for a total of one year.
  • Robert James pleaded no contest for failing to prevent a dog from attacking another dog. The court fined him $50.
  • Jessica Marie Olivares entered a change of plea. She pleaded no contest to simple battery. The court sentenced her to six months of unsupervised probation.
