CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Judge Sean Chambers presided over multiple hearings in Laramie County Circuit Court on Monday, Jan. 13 to address arraignments, sentencings and plea changes.
- Joshua Peters Hernandez reached an agreement with the state to resolve multiple cases. Hernandez initially appeared Monday for a charge of battery, but this case and multiple others were dismissed as part of the agreement. In return, he pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving. Chambers sentenced Hernandez to 76 days’ time served for both of the cases.
- Chris Ray Sanchez appeared for a bond revocation arraignment after testing positive for methamphetamine. He denied the allegations, and a scheduling conference was set.
- Grayson Schrok was in court for a bond revocation arraignment. He was arrested on a DUI charge and for driving under a suspended license, which violated his bond conditions for a prior DUI. Sanchez denied the bond revocation conditions and entered not guilty pleas for the new charges. Chambers set a scheduling conference for April and set bond for the new charges at a $2,000 signature bond.
- Riley Janes Sams appeared for an arraignment for a charge of possession of fentanyl. She pleaded guilty. Sentencing was set for February, and bond was set at $1,000 cash.
- Rebecca Johnson-Liss appeared for an arraignment for possession of a controlled substance. She pleaded not guilty. The court set a scheduling conference for April.
- Rachel Refro entered a change of plea to not guilty. Chambers set a scheduling conference for April.
- Stuart White appeared in court for an arraignment regarding the charge of possession of a controlled substance in crystal form. He pleaded not guilty. A scheduling conference was set for April.
- Patrick Dunning appeared for failure to be tested, a condition he had to uphold for a prior charge. The court placed him back on probation for a year.
