Wyoming graduation rates rise for 6th straight year

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Department of Education has released their graduation statistics for the 2018-2019 year and the results indicate a sixth-straight year of rising graduation rates in the state.

According to the report provided by the Wyoming Department of Education, students across Wyoming achieved an “on-time” graduation rate of 82.1% in 2018-19.

This is an increase of .5% from the previous year.

The report shows that Laramie County School District #1 recorded a 81.6% graduation rate in 2018-2019. This marks an improvement from the 2017-2018 rate which came in at 79.8%.

For Laramie County School District #2 the report reveals a graduation rate of 97.1% which is a big jump from the previous year’s rate of 82.6%.
