According to a statement from the Casper Police Department’s Srgt. Baker, At approximately 4:35 pm, the Casper Police Department responded to an accident scene west of the intersection of CY and 13th. Upon arrival, police learned that a pedestrian on a bike had been struck by a vehicle, causing injury to the pedestrian.
The pedestrian, described as a middle aged male, was rushed to the Wyoming Medical Center. He is reported to be alive. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
According to police, driver error and the sun are suspected to be contributing factors in the collision.
