CASPER, Wyo. — A 23-year-old Colorado man died Saturday, May 27 in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Casper.
Trenton Houck was driving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle east down Yellowstone Highway, just east of Poplar Street. The Wyoming Highway Patrol reports that he was traveling at a high rate of speed and he failed to navigate the left-hand curve in the roadway.
The driver lost control and swerved off the roadway to the right. Houck crashed into a large boulder and was thrown from the motorcycle.
According the highway patrol, Houck was not wearing a helmet at the time.
