LINGLE, Wyo. — A head-on collision along US 85 on Sept. 1 ultimately led to the deaths of three people.
According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around milepost 112, just north of Lingle, at roughly 3:45 p.m.
The WHP determined that a Toyota was traveling south on US 85 while a Chrysler was traveling north. The Chrysler crossed the highway’s center line and collided with the Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota, the driver of the Chrysler and a passenger in the Chrysler were all killed at the scene of the crash.
The WHP incident report lists driver inattention and fatigue as possible factors in the wreck.
