RAWLINS, Wyo. — Two people were killed and another was injured in a Sunday wreck along US 287 near Rawlins.

The crash occurred at just past 4 p.m., when a northbound Ford pickup truck lost control, slid into oncoming traffic and struck a Chevrolet pickup that was heading south into Rawlins. Killed in the collision were Wyoming residents Stephanie Neuerburg and Conor Rundell.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol lists speed as a possible contributing factor.

One person was injured in the wreck, while three more came away uninjured.
