RIVERTON, Wyo. — A Wyoming resident was killed and four other people were injured Nov. 7 in a two-vehicle wreck along Wyoming Highway 789 near Riverton.
At just past 5:10 p.m., a Buick was headed north near mile marker 113 when it began slowing to turn into a driveway. The driver of a Chevrolet, also northbound, failed to see the slowing vehicle and struck them from the rear. According to the report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, the impact from the collision caused the two vehicles to become stuck, and sent both off the road.
Killed in the wreck was 39-year-old Wyomingite Sarah Adams. Four others were injured and taken to receive medical attention.
