CASPER, Wyo. – Cheyenne’s schools competed in the 2022 Wyoming State Spirit Competition on Friday at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper.

The event brought dance and cheer squads from all over the state to compete in categories that include game day, all-girl cheer, hip hop dance and jazz dance.

Cheyenne South took first place in 4A game day, and Cheyenne East took second in co-ed cheer.
