CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne City Council is holding its annual Straw Poll Dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
That’s according to a release from the City Council, which stated that at the dinner, nominations for the 2025 City Council president and City Council vice president will be made.
“No other business will be conducted at this meeting,” the release stated.
A straw poll, according to the Cambridge Dictionary, is “an unofficial vote that is taken to discover what people think about an idea or problem, or how they intend to vote in an election.”
The Straw Poll Dinner is happening at The Metropolitan Downtown, located at 1701 Carey Ave., at 6 p.m.
