CHEYENNE, Wyo. – On Monday, December 16th, The City of Cheyenne announced on Facebook that The Wyoming Department of Transportation, otherwise known as WYDOT, has donated 54 bikes and helmets to Cheyenne Professional Firefighters Local 279. The donation was made in support of the firefighters third annual Christmas Bike Drive.
This is also marks the third straight year in which WYDOT employees have donated bikes and helmets to the cause.
The announcement went on to say “The bikes will help pre-selected children have a wonderful Christmas with a new bike under the tree.”
