CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The City of Aurora in Colorado announced via Twitter video on Monday morning that In-N-Out Burger will be coming to their Town Center sometime in 2020.
This marks the third In-N-Out restaurant set to open in Colorado. A location plans to open in Fort Collin, Colorado at 1700 S. College Avenue, but no date has yet been announced. The chain also plans on opening a location in Lone Tree, Colorado in late 2020.
In 2018, the City of Aurora announced that In-N-Out was planning on opening a 150,000 square-foot office and a 100,000 square-foot distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The lack of a distribution center in Colorado was one of the reasons cited for In-N-Out not having an restaurants operating nearby.
When the distribution center was announced it was said that it would then be possible for In-N-Out to serve up to 50 restaurants within 350 miles of Colorado Springs.
In-N-Out started in California, in 1948 and has around 350 restaurants in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada Texas and Oregon.
