CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Denver Center of The Performing Arts has announced that single tickets for the popular broadway show Hamilton will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on April 20th at at denvercenter.org.

The hit show will be making it’s second run in Denver from August 12th through October 4th, 2020.

Hamilton is a musical that is based on the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton and his rise to power against the backdrop of The American Revolution.

The announcement says that the exact prices for tickets for Hamilton have not been determined yet but that patrons with a 2019-20 DCPA subscription package will have priority access to purchase tickets from February 25 through March 8, based on availability.

The Denver Center of The Performing Arts say that there will be a maximum purchase limit of eight tickets per account for the engagement. There will also be a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances. On-sale prices and lottery details will be announced closer to the engagement.

Based on the demand for Hamilton when it first ran in Denver in 2018 there is a concern of people getting scammed into buying fake tickets to the show.

“It’s tempting to get tickets any way you can,” Producer Jeffrey Seller said.

“There are many sites and people that are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets. For the best seats, the best prices and to eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets, all purchases for the Denver engagement should be made through denvercenter.org.”

Hamilton was nominated for a record breaking 16 Tony nominations in 2016, of which, they won 11.
