Much lower temperatures and strong winds are expected in Cheyenne over weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The National Weather Service in Cheyenne is predicting a chilly and windy weekend with gusts reaching as high 35 mph during the day on Sunday.

For tonight, January 10th, the NWS is expecting clear skies with much colder lows of around 8 and wind chill values between -5 and 5.

For Saturday, January 11th, the weather report anticipates breezy conditions with southwest winds of 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon and wind gusts up to 30 mph. The report goes on to say that sunny skies and a high around 38 are expected.

On Saturday evening, the weather service is calling for cloudy skies and a predicted low of near 20.

For Sunday, January 12th, the report is expecting sunny conditions with west winds of 15 to 25 mph that could gust as high as 35 mph. The daytime high is expected to be 33.
