Unsettled weather ahead for Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A wide variety of weather conditions are expected in Cheyenne over the next four days. Periods of cold temperatures, sunny skies, strong winds, and possibilities of snow are all possible over the upcoming weekend.

For today, February 20th, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne is calling for sunny skies, with a high around 33. Wind chill values are expected to be between zero and 10.

For this evening the weather report predicts clear skie and an overnight low near 12.

On Friday, February 21st, the weather service anticipates continued sunny skies, with a high near 47 and breezy conditions. The winds are expected to be from the west at 15 to 25 mph, with gusts possibly reaching as high as 35 mph.

For Friday night, a low around 25 is expect with west southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph.

On Saturday, February 22nd, the NWS calls for increasing clouds, with a high near 51 and a southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

For Saturday night a 20 % chance of snow after 11pm is possible with mostly cloudy skies, and an overnight low of near 25.

On Sunday, February 23rd, the Cheyenne Weather service forecast predicts a 40 % chance of snow, with a high near 36. For Sunday evening a slight chance of snow before 11p is possible with a low around 21.
