Kelly J. Lojka

Kelly J. Lojka, 44, of Cheyenne, died on April 14, 2020 in Cheyenne.

He was born on November 21, 1975 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

Kelly was a Vice President and Director of Computer Operations for ANB Bank.

He was a Habitat for Humanity-past board member, ANB Leadership council-member, senior management team member-ANB Bank IT, and a coach for the City of Cheyenne girls softball league.

He is survived by his wife, Leah Lojka; daughter, Kalea Lojka; parents, Everett and Shirlene Lojka; brothers, Kevin (Karen) Lojka, Klint (Kelli) Lojka, Kliff Lojka; niece, Kayla (Kenny) Smith and children; nephew, Kyler Lojka; and numerous gym brothers and friends.

Kelly was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dick and Shirly Leu; paternal grandparents, Henry and Vivian Lojka and an uncle, Rich Leu.

Kelly was very dedicated to weightlifting. He loved teaching others the skill of lifting and enjoyed his gym family greatly. He most recently had attempted fly fishing and was most successful in catching himself. He also enjoyed spending a lot of time playing with his Weimaraner, Kamie. His daughter Kalea was his pride and joy. He was a tremendous family supporter and loved his family dearly, talking of them often. He will be missed beyond words by all of them. Kelly loved to make people laugh and you always knew when he was in the room.

The family will announce services once the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.


Aurora Costuna Pulse

Aurora Costuna Pulse, 82, of Cheyenne, passed away on April 18, 2020, at home with all four kids and family by her side.

Aurora was born February 24, 1938 in Manila, Philippines. She was the third daughter of eleven children of the late Gertrudes Abergas Costuna and Valentin Obina Costuna of Taboc Borongan, Samar, Philippines.

Aurora graduated at University of the East and Gregg Business College at Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She worked at Malacanang Palace, Manila as secretary/receptionist for five years, at Central Textile Mills for 25 years, at the old Cheyenne Hospital as a Certified Nurse Assistant while at the same time working at Country Buffet at the register, as a trainer, and as a greeter from 1994 until retiring in 2013.
She was a member of Saint Mary’s Cathedral Catholic Church and she enjoyed letter writing, travelling to different parts of the United States and collected different collectible spoons. She also loved to swim on a regular basis to serve for her personal training therapy. Aurora was a single, hard working mother who dedicated and devoted her life to provide for her growing four kids until they became successful professionals.

Aurora is survived by her four loving children – Rodelio Villegas (Carina Felix Villegas), Auronita Villegas Radican (Michael Radican), Aurominda Villegas Brockman (Charlie Brockman), and Rodentor Villegas (Salva Fermi Villegas); seven grandchildren, Ronne, Luke (Daughter Mia Kaylani), Aura Adora (Sons Easton and Levi), Lynda Rae, Aurell, Zcherina, and Ganesa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m.

Burial will follow at Beth El Cemetery.


Duane A, Cornella

Duane A. Cornella, 90, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away early Friday morning, April 17, 2020 at Life Care Center of Cheyenne.

Duane was born June 10, 1929 in Ottertail, Minnesota, a son of the late Victor and Gladys (Lamphere) Cornella.

Duane married Lenore Kravic in Havre, Montana in 1949 and later welcomed a son, Jerry, and daughter, Cheryl.  He then married Shirley Hunter Rodgers in 1956 and welcomed three children, a son, Craig, and two daughters, Tina and Mickie.  He moved from Montana to Sheridan, Wyoming in 1956 and later moved to Thermopolis where he worked for the REA for a few years.  He then transferred to Casper and worked for the REA until 1967.  Duane then moved to Cheyenne and worked for the Bureau of Reclamation until he retired in 1991. He and Shirley enjoyed spending winters in Arizona for a few years where he did rock work and enjoyed making jewelry for the entire family.  

Duane is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Alex) Johnson and Mickie Golding; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; sons, Jerry and Craig; and daughter, Tina.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will take place in Olivet Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.


Ted H. Menard

Ted H. Menard, 73, of Cheyenne passed away April 16, 2020 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 23, 1946 in Omaha, NE to Gerald and LaVerne Menard.  He married Sharon Lockhart on September 7, 1968 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Fort Collins, CO.  He served in the US Army and was retired.  He was a member of North Cheyenne Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Cheyenne; children, Jason (Brandi) Menard of Corsicana, TX, Sean (Chrissy) Menard of Greeley, and Tiffany (Colin) Baker of Denver; grandchildren, Zachary, Brittni, Olivia, Travis, Cora and Margot; great-granddaughter, Emmaline; and brothers, Terry Menard of Fort Collins and Joe Menard of Fort Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home and no services are scheduled.
