CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Cheyenne Police Department says that they have arrested a 33-year old woman after they allege that they discovered suspected methamphetamine on her person.
Court papers say that on May 12th, 20202, During her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court, Stephanie Rena Jackson was read the felony charge of Possession of Methamphetamine – Third Offense by Judge Thomas Lee
Police report that they were called to a residence on the 3200 block of E. Lincolnway to a report of a domestic disturbance during the late evening hours of May 9th, 2020.
Upon arriving on scene, law enforcement says that they made contact with Jackson who was allegedly holding a plastic baggie of methamphetamine.
According to the police, the meth weighed in at .5 grams.
Court documents say that Jackson had two prior convictions of Possession of a Controlled Substance on her record.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office.
