CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Cheyenne Police Department posted on Facebook today to remind citizens to remember to lock their vehicle doors and secure their valuables.
According to police officials, of the recent vehicle burglaries they have been investigating, almost all of them were from vehicle doors being unlocked and valuables in plain sight.
“This is a simple way to cut down your chances of possibly being the next victim. Remember….Lock It Or Lose It!” the CPD said.
Law enforcement went on to ask members of the public to please report any suspicious activity to them.
