CHEYENNE, Wyo. – According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, a few thunderstorms may develop in the area over the weekend in the afternoon and evening, however, coverage should remain fairly isolated.
The NWS says that the strongest storms today will be capable of producing small hail and gusty winds.
Thunderstorm coverage will be more widespread Saturday and Sunday during the afternoon and evening hours with strong to severe storms capable of producing up to quarter size hail and 60 MPH wind gusts.

Temperatures over the weekend are expected to be in the low to mid 80’s with a possibility of record highs being set early next week.
