According to event organizers, Edge Fest 2020 has been canceled.
The popular music festival was set to take place August 28th and Aug 29th at the Cheyenne’s Civic Commons in Downtown Cheyenne.
The full statement from the Edge Fest committee reads as follows:
Our cancelation is a commitment to community safety like everyone else. BUT, the overwhelming influence from the Edge Fest Committee and Big 8 Foundation Board of Directors was this:
Edge Fest was created to bring music, love and healing to the West Edge of Downtown, and the beautiful people of Cheyenne. The current social distancing requirements (fully understand and respect them) would require us to eliminate the heart of our program.
The spirit of Edge Fest and live music is the opposite of social distancing. So, we shall wait until it is safe to laugh, touch, hold hands, kiss, hug, celebrate and shake our ass together once again!!!
Much love to our amazing sponsors and fans who believe that something special can happen to a neighborhood and community by bringing people together to put down our differences for a minute and party with some of the top live music performers on the planet.
Rest up in 2020 Edge Festers… We are coming back even bigger next year
