CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A 23-year old woman was arrested by the Cheyenne Police Department after it is alleged that she shoplifted nearly $1300.00 from a local department store during two separate incidents.

Hailey Priddy was read the charge of Felony Shoplifting during her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on June 25th, 2020 by Judge Denise Nau, according to court paperwork.

The officer was advised that the suspect, later identified as Priddy, had a distinctive tattoo on the right side of her face.

Court papers report that video footage shows Priddy being involved in two prior shoplifting incidents at the store that total in the amount of $1298.73 that are alleged to have occurred during April and May.

Law enforcement went on to say that Priddy was identified after a photo from the store surveillance video was released to the public.

“I compared in house mug shots of Priddy to the store’s video and readily identified her by the distinctive facial tattoo on the right side of her face,” the officer said in the affidavit.

All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office.
