CHEYENNE, Wyo. – During the July 27th, 2020, Cheyenne City Council meeting, a resolution was referred to the finance committee, that could pave the way the Cheyenne Police Department to apply for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program
The grant funding, if acquired, would provide police with increased storage capacity for their in-car, body-worn cameras as well as other digital evidence.
According to the resolution, the CPD is eligible to receive $37,080 in funding for the 2021 fiscal year if the grant is awarded.
