CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A 65-year old woman was arrested by law enforcement and now faces a felony drug charge stemming from a 2016 Methamphetamine Conspiracy case.
Court papers say that Judy Ingram made her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on August 4th, 2020 to hear the charge of Conspiracy to Manufacture, Deliver or Possess Methamphetamine read to her.
According to court documents, Ingram was named as an associate of Martin Stenger of Cheyenne, Wyoming, who was sentenced on June 19, 2017, for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams methamphetamine and for possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
Officials with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, otherwise known as DCI, say that investigators obtained permission to intercept communications on Stenger’s phone and began doing so in June 2016.
During the interception of Stenger’s phone, agents heard multiple communications between himself and Ingram where the sale of Methamphetamine was discussed between June and September of 2016, according to the affidavit.
DCI agents report that after his arrest in 2017, Stenger told authorities that Ingram was his live-in girlfriend and that she would give methamphetamine to people if he was not around.
Law enforcement alleges that Ingram was one of several people in Wyoming who would distribute methamphetamine for Stenger.
“Ingram was Stenger’s girlfriend and would distribute Methamphetamine to his customers in Laramie County,” DCI agents stated in the affidavit.
If convicted Ingram could face up to 25 years in prison and or a fine of up to 25k.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office.
