CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A unique golf tournament is coming to Cheyenne’s downtown depot September 26th.
The downtown Depot organized the event as a way of giving back to the downtown businesses by hosting a golf tournament.
The event is in support of the heart of Cheyenne which is local businesses. This is to help bolster the local economy and get more foot traffic into local stores & shops and bringing the community together to keep the heart pumping.
The golf tournament will be split into two flights one at 10 a.m. & the other at 2 p.m. There will be 18-hole locations throughout downtown for 2 teams at a time.
There will be 40-teams in the morning and another 40 in the afternoon. the Teams will be set at 4 people per team. To sign up for teams, the buy in is one-hundred dollars. If you don’t have a full team you can buy in at twenty five dollars a person.
The event is to help out small businesses with the added incentive for shoppers, there will be a sidewalk sale going on through out the day.
Sign ups for businesses that wish to host a hole for the event will start on Tuesday you can call 307-632-3905 in order to sign-up.
The tournament will be following the current health order guidelines put in place by the health department. Attendee’s will have their own golf club & ball and enforcing social distance between teams.
The depot will also be hosting an after party after both rounds in their parking lot hosting food trucks, Cheyenne beverage and a DJ.
