Kristopher A. Ortiz

Kristopher A. Ortiz, 23, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away September 10, 2020 in Cheyenne. 

Kristopher was born December 19, 1996 in Cheyenne.  He is survived by his father, David Ortiz, Sr.; his daughter, Rayne Catherine Winter-Ortiz; his birth mother, Andrea Hawk-Wing; seven brothers, David Ortiz, Jr., Erik Ortiz, Mark Hoffmaster, Anthony Pena, Andrew Hawk-Wing, Avery Hawk-Wing, Doniel Lopez, Thomas Lovato and Zak Phillips; niece, Mackenzie; sisters-in-law, Catie Flores, Kendra Hurd; and current girlfriend, Morgana Grant; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He went home to be with our Lord and his mom, Ronda Ortiz.

Kristopher will be remembered as an adventurous young man who was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a kind and loving gentle soul, he always had a smile and kind word for everyone he met. He was employed by Sierra Trading Post.

Kristopher will be forever sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

His family will hold services on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel with Pastor Aaron Kor officiating.  Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.

Ida Madrid

Ida (Vigil) Madrid, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colorado died peacefully on September 10, 2020 in Colorado Springs.

She was born on June 19, 1928 in Rawlins, Wyoming.

Mrs. Madrid enjoyed going to casinos, cooking, dancing, camping, fishing and most of all spoiling grandkids and being with family.

She is survived by her children, Abe A. Madrid (Evelyn) of Meridian, Idaho, and Vicki S. Medina (James) of Colorado Springs; a sister, Delcy Moulder of Saratoga, Wyoming; a brother Robert Roybal (Viola) of Rawlins, WY; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Mrs. Madrid was preceded in death by her husband, Abel Madrid; sons, Kenneth and Mose Madrid; granddaughter Shelly Madrid; sisters, Rose Borstad; Dorothy Garcia, and Martha Vance; parents, Moises and Eufemia Vigil

Private family services will be held at St. Mary’s Cathedral.

Francis .E. Duggan

Francis .E. Duggan, 84, passed away on September 10, 2020.

He was born March 30, 1936 on the Duggan Family Farm in Elsie, Nebraska.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19th in the Grover Town Park in Grover, Colorado.
