Strong winds on I-80 in SE Wyoming; motorists urged to use caution

CASPER, Wyo. — I-80 between Elk Mountain and Arlington is seeing strong wind on Thursday, Nov. 5 in southeast Wyoming.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne says 40-50 mph winds out of the west and southwest are expected to continue through mid-morning.

“Motorists should exercise caution while driving along this stretch of Interstate 80,” the NWS in Cheyenne says.
