CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Business Council is launching a “Thrive > Survive” campaign to highlight stories of resiliency during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The campaign will feature “stories where innovation, lots of elbow grease and working together have helped communities and businesses weather the pandemic, sometimes even growing stronger.”

People with stories can submit their ideas at thrivewyoming.org.

The campaign so far has stories from Laramie, Cody, Rock Springs, Gillette and Lander. More will be added in coming months.

“The unprecedented challenges in 2020 have reinforced the necessity for Wyoming to go beyond just survival mode and figure out ways to thrive,” Wyoming Business Council CEO Josh Dorrell said. “To see people rally together, come up with creative solutions and really look out for their neighbors gives me a great sense of pride and excitement for the future. We need to tell our stories and learn the lessons that we have taken in so far.”

“As a state, we’re going to face more challenges beyond this pandemic. We now know what we’re capable of and what difference we can make if we rally together. I think that, together, we’re going to be able to face upcoming challenges and thrive.”
