Wyoming Forestry Division conducting controlled burn east of Laramie

The Wyoming State Forestry Division announced that on Monday, January 25, 2021, they are beginning a controlled burn in the Telephone Canyon near Laramie.

Officials say that some smoke may be visible to motorists traveling on I-80 east of Laramie (mm 316-323)

“Note that this is a planned burn, please do not call emergency services,” the Forestry Division stated.
