CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne Frontier Days has full day of events! There are events all over town not just in park. Don’t miss you chance to see the parade downtown or visit F. E. Warren Air Force Base. Here is top-down list of all the events, activities, and schedules happening at Cheyenne Frontier Days! As Wyoming largest traditions, it is a must see attraction. This year the rodeo, carnival, and shows are going to be bigger than ever. Let us help you know how to plan your visit today!

Downtown:

9:00 a.m. Grand Parade the biggest and parade in Wyoming will help kick off the first weekend of CFD. Don’t miss your chance to see the floats!

Frontier Park Arena:

7:00 a.m. Rodeo Qualifying

9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Behind the Shoot Tours

11:45 a.m. Pre-rodeo Entertainment

12:45 p.m. Grand Entry and “Daddy of Em all” Rodeo

8:00 p.m. Thomas Rhett with special guest Rhett Akins

Park-N-Ride:

10:00 a.m. – 12:30 a.m. The Park-N-Ride service will be available. It will be a safe place to park and then you can get right into the all the action. It is a short 5 minute ride. It cost $10 but it will also get you entry into CFD. Don’t stress about parking make it easy on yourself.

Carnival Midway:

10:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Carnival Midway and Shopping starts running. Ride on all the carnival rides, eat delicious treats, and more! For a one day pass it is $30. For the whole 10 days it is $130 to ride every ride every day!

10:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Exhibit Hall is open

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Buckin’ a Saloon has live music and dancing with the Country Music Project.

Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum and Store:

8:00 a.m. – 7 p.m. CFD old West Museum and Art Show

8:00 a.m. – 7 p.m. Shopping at the CFD Gift Store

The Garden:

11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Relax and Recharge. Take some time to just sit in the shade and relax. located just inside the front gate.

5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Live music and dancing with Mountain Duo

Western Experience:

10:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m. BLM wild horse and burro program. They will be presenting 20 wild horse and burros up for adoption. This allows the public to see what goes into he start of a great horse or burro.

4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Chuckwagon VIP experience get your traditional chuckwagon cooked meal. prepared over a campfire and with cast iron skillets, this is the best meal in all the west. They have only 75 meal per day and it costs $65 a person. the menu for tonight is brisket, beans, potatoes, rolls, cobbler, and your choice beverage.

Indian Village

10:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Indian village will be open. Don’t miss your chance to experience the Native American costumes, dancing, storytelling, flute players and handicrafts. special events are list below.

  • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Kid’s crafts
  • 11:15 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.: Native American Dance Performances
  • 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.: Native American Storyteller
  • 2 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.: Native American Flute Player

Old Frontier Town

10:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Petting Zoo

10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sidewinder Saloon live performances

Fort D.A Russel Days on F. E. Warren Air Force Base:


9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Free shuttle from Frontier Park to F. E. Warren AFB. Meet the shuttle at Frontier Park Public Transportation. Last shuttle at 3:30 p.m.

9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Living History Camp Presentations/Demonstrations

9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Camp Carlin Supply Run, a “stick” mule race for 5-8-year-old children delivering supplies to historic forts

10:30 a.m. Buffalo Soldiers of the American West Presentation highlighting mounted Cavalry riding and weapons drills as well as educating the public about the African American Cavalry regiments of the U.S. Army.

1:30 p.m. Buffalo Soldiers of the American West Presentation

3 p.m. The Trotters Cavalry Performance Demonstration of historical Cavalry Precision Riding Drills

5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Period Style Dance. Historic period clothing/western attire preferred but not required. Instruction will be provided. For the whole family
